Richard D. Windsor, 57, of Stoneyview Drive, Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010. He was the husband of Deborah (Hughes) Windsor. Born in Annapolis, Maryland he was the son of Jean (Purdy) Windsor of Maryland and the late Richard Windsor. Mr. Windsor was a Technical Writer for Vishay/BLH for many years. He was a member of the Church in North Providence for over 35 years where he was also an active board member and served in children's meetings. He had served for Bibles For America since 2001 and had a great passion and enthusiasm for his love for Jesus. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter, Tamara Kropf and her husband John of Canada; three sons, Luke Windsor of Foxboro, Jordan Windsor of Woonsocket and Richard Windsor of Cumberland; two grandchildren, Matthew and Abigail Kropf; a sister Julie Axberg of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Eric Windsor of Maryland and Donald Windsor of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Gail Windsor. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010, 7-9pm in the Church of North Providence, 180 Smithfield Rd. North Providence.
