 Normand L. Duhamel, 81, of Woonsocket, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Janet (Bourgeois) Duhamel. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Albani and Anna (Magnon) Duhamel. Mr. Duhamel was a baker for the former Downy Flake Restaurant, the former Belisle's Bakery, and the former Almacs Supermarket. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Denise Duhamel of Hollywood, Florida, and Michele Tancrell and her husband Marc of Blackstone, MA, and two granddaughters, Kerri and Kate Tancrell. He was the brother of the late Edgar and Raymond Duhamel. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Saint Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm.
