 Ann O. D'Ambra, 92, of Rumford, passed away surrounded by her family Friday, October 8, 2010. She was the wife of the late Frank D'Ambra. They had been happily married for thirty nine years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Habib and Adell (Ganem) Dewey. Mrs. D'Ambra had lived in Rumford for the last forty three years. She was a member of the Altar Sodality, Saint Basil The Great Church and was avid traveler. She most enjoyed her time with her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Thomas F. D'Ambra and his wife Denise M., of Rumford, with whom she made her home, her daughter, Carol A. Lucchesi and her husband Steven of Pawtucket, her brother, Joseph Dewey of Rumford, her sister, Sadie Remy of Swansea, MA; several nieces and nephews including her great nephew, Michael Rahme and his wife, Michelle, her great niece, Janelle Rahme, her goddaughters Joanne Rahme and her husband Mike and Marion Johnson and husband Carl; she also leaves two cousins, Mary Lopes and Alice Jabbour. She was the sister of the late Margaret Sonderman, Mary Giglietti, Josephine Rodrigues, Alice, Mitchell and Anthony Dewey. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Saint Basil The Great Church, Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm in the funeral home.
